Morse School gymnasium

Doors open at 4:30 PM

Teaching artist Joh Camara will help you learn the dances of Mali, Guinea and Ivory Coast and dance to live drummers playing the djembe and djun-djun drums. This workshop introduces students to the spiritual, social, psychological, and physical healing of traditional West African dance. Drum Call and Friends of the Morse School have partnered together to offer this workshop.
